Wash your Hands

Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with an alcohol based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Washing your hands frequently with soap and water or with the hand rub, which kills the viruses that may be present on the hands.

Maintain Social Distancing

Maintain at least 1-2 meter distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Because when someone sneezes or coughs they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you may breathe in the droplets, including the COVID 19 virus if the person who is coughing, has the disease.

Avoid Touching Eyes, Nose and Mouth

Hands touch many surfaces which can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to the eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

Practice Respiratory Hygiene

Make sure and the people around you follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose the used tissue safely into the closed dustbins immediately.

Avoid Social Gathering

As there are high chances of spread of the infectious disease through people or the contaminated surfaces, it is better to avoid social gatherings and meetings.

Go out if Necessary

          It is better to stay in home and can move out only in case of medical emergency or to get the most fundamental things. Don’t move out for work without absolute necessity.

Spray Disinfectants

It is better to spray disinfectants to the things which we use in our day to day life to prevent it from getting infected.

Use masks and gloves

Using face masks and hand gloves helps us in reducing the chances of being infected with disease. But it is more important to dispose the used masks and gloves safely into the closed bins immediately.

If you are not well

Stay home if you feel unwell, if you have fever, cough or difficulty in breathing, seek medical attention in advance. This may help others from getting infected.
